Flowers and Buds

The buds of a tree can be useful to look at for identification purposes, especially in winter. Their shape and colour will give you clues and you can also see the arrangement patten of the leaves that they will eventually grow into.

The arrangement and shape of the flowers can help with identification, are they doomed or conical? Look at the number of petals as well as their colour.
